Alternative Communication - GoTalk Button

I have been using this as a stimulus control strategy more than anything else, for requests to go to the bathroom. One button stays on the work desk, one at the dinner table. Even for scheduled trained children with autism, the requesting so often does not develop and will need some serious troubleshooting. Of course that this button can be used in so many more ways, for example in place of photos of icons that remain stationary by the items they represent, such as cookies by the cupboard where the cookies are kept, or as an attention request, for example for a child in a wheel chair with a tray, or a high chair. Or they can be used for one request only, such as the bathroom, or whatever may be a single very important mand being acquired. The button costs about $12.00.
